Mortgage Express
Mortgage Express is the specialist lending arm of the Bradford & Bingley
plc. We are based in New Barnet, Herts, and currently employ 300 people. Founded
back in 1986, the company has gained a reputation for friendly, efficient
service, mortgage products that meet the needs of real people, and a streak
of individuality that ranks us among the market leaders in our chosen niche
markets. We currently manage over £10 billion of mortgage assets.
What mortgages do we offer?
Some specialist lenders deal specifically with the selfemployed, others focus
on nonstandard borrowing or buytolet. Mortgage Express is an expert on
all aspects of specialist lending, and has created a range of innovative mortgages
for individual niche markets. We are the market leading 'Buy to Let' lender
and are rapidly developing a reputation as a leading lender in the 'Self Cert'
and '100%' markets. Our product range also includes 'Standard', 'FlexAbility',
and 'Let and Buy'.
What makes our mortgages different?
All of our products are linked to the Bank of England Base Rate, so customers
always know how much they are paying and how they will be affected by fluctuations
in the Base Rate. We also don't apply MIG charges on any of our products.
All Mortgage Express products offer Choices, a flexible payment
feature, as an integral part of the mortgage. Choices enables people to overpay
or underpay their mortgage or even take a payment holiday. The FlexAbility
mortgage has been specially designed to offer a flexible mortgage without
tieins or redemption penalties.
