the Ecology Building Society was founded in 1981. We
are a mutual organisation, and use the money deposited by our savers to grant
mortgages on properties and projects that help the environment.
We have grown steadily since our formation, as more and more people decide
to put the ir savings to positive use. Based in Yorkshire, our savings and
mortgages are available across the U.K.
Our AGM
is held in a different part of the country each year, at a venue of environmental
interest. This enables members living around the country to attend.
